In-Store Policy

Approval by you to repair your unit via writing or by phone, authorizes TV Stereo Clinic Inc., HDTV Clinic (TVSCI) to place a lien on the unit until it is paid for within or at the 30 day deadline from the date of repair completion.

If you fail to pay or make arrangements to pay, such failure will result in your authorization for TVSCI to sell or dispose of your unit at the discretion of TVSCI.

In all cases, we take your word regarding the status or condition of your unit at the time of drop-off. Our diagnosis, performed by a certified technician, will determine what the failure status is.

It is necessary to perform partial repair in the diagnosis of a unit to effectively test the complete status of all circuits. You will be notified, after diagnosis, of the cost to repair your unit. If you choose to decline repair, TVSCI will reinstall the defective parts, however, TVSCI cannot guarantee that your unit can be restored to the original (failed) condition.

Upon your approval of the repair, TVSCI will order the necessary parts to complete the repair, however, TVSCI cannot guarantee that the necessary parts will be readily available.

TVSCI is not liable for cosmetic imperfections, intermittent problems, scratches that were suddenly discovered, tapes, CDs, DVDs, or other media either stuck or forgotten within the unit needing repair.

TVSCI guarantees the services we perform by offering a 30 day warranty on the labor performed to replace the failed parts. This warranty is rendered null and void by accidents caused by acts of nature or by you tampering with the device. Additionally, units over 6 years old as well as cleanings and/or rejuvenation of the picture tubes are not covered under warranty.

Service Call Policy

TVSCI charges an off-site fee to come to the location of the equipment. This fee includes pick-up and delivery to the first floor.

Additionally, TVSCI charges a non-refundable diagnostic fee which will be collected up-front, and if repair is necessary and approved, will be credited to your invoice.
